Dr. Elaine Gray

Dr. Gray is the campus ePortfolio Director and is responsible for faculty development and student support for ePortfolios. She teaches a First Year Seminar class entitled “The Art of Attention” and a course on “Contemplative Leadership” in Interdisciplinary Studies. She earned her master's degree in Liberal Studies from Rollins College and holds a Ph.D in Integral Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies. Elaine is currently working towards completion of an Ed.D in the Educational Leadership doctoral program at Appalachian State University. Her publications include the textbook "Conscious Choices: a Guide to Self-directed Learning" (Pearson, 2004).



Alisha Sprinkle   

Alisha is a graduate assistant majoring in Computer Science with a concentration in Theoretics. Alisha has been a part of the Aportfolio team since 2016 and loves helping students create the best portfolio they possibly can. While obtaining her undergraduate degree, she participated in undergraduate research investigating the declining honey bee populations and the usage of three dimensional printing. In her spare time, Alisha enjoys playing video games, watching NBA basketball, and reading.


Rett Hill

Rett is a Middle Grades Math and English Language Arts Major at Appalachian State. Throughout college, Rett took part in the Appalachian Community of Education Scholars and was in the inaugural cohort of the Middle Fork Fellows, a collaboration between Appalachian State and Winston-Salem State studying classroom diversity. Rett has been working with Aportfolio since the fall of 2017. In his spare time, Rett is an amateur photographer who enjoys hiking, playing video games, and watching Formula One.
