Dr. Elaine Gray

Dr. Gray is the campus ePortfolio Director and is responsible for faculty development and student support for ePortfolios. She teaches a First Year Seminar class entitled “The Art of Attention” and a course on “Contemplative Leadership” in Interdisciplinary Studies. She earned her master's degree in Liberal Studies from Rollins College and holds a Ph.D in Integral Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies. Elaine is currently working towards completion of an Ed.D in the Educational Leadership doctoral program at Appalachian State University. Her publications include the textbook "Conscious Choices: a Guide to Self-directed Learning" (Pearson, 2004).

Kyla Willoughby   

Kyla willoughby is a sophmore majoring in Commercial Photography and Graphic Communications Management with a concentration in Cross Media Production. Kyla has been a part of the Aportfolio team since the fall of 2019 and loves making video tutorials. In her free time, Kyla enjoys taking photos, swimming, sleeping and watching netflix. 

        


Rett Hill

Rett is a Middle Grades Math and English Language Arts Major at Appalachian State. Throughout college, Rett took part in the Appalachian Community of Education Scholars and was in the inaugural cohort of the Middle Fork Fellows, a collaboration between Appalachian State and Winston-Salem State studying classroom diversity. Rett has been working with Aportfolio since the fall of 2017. In his spare time, Rett is an amateur photographer who enjoys hiking, playing video games, and watching Formula One.
