To change the small icon displayed next to the link of your Aportfolio, follow these steps.
(Please note: The Digication system recommends using an image with a 16:9 ratio or the following pixel measurements: 1920×1080; 1600×900; 1280×720; 1024×576. Some great websites to edit the dimensions of an image include: Canva and Pixlr.)
Step 1 | This is the “Directory Icon,” in your Aportfolio. It is the image that will be displayed by your portfolio, it is also called a thumbnail. To change this picture, select your Aportfolio. | |

Step 2 | Once you are in your Aportfolio, hover over the hamburger icon in the upper right-hand corner and select Settings. | |
Step 3 | In Settings, this is the same picture that will be your “Directory Icon.” Click on “Choose A Thumbnail.” | |
Step 4 | If you want to upload a picture from your computer, select “Upload A File.” | |
Step 5 | From this page, you can either drag and drop an image from your desktop that will automatically begin uploading or select, “Choose files” which brings up your files, where you can select an image. | |
Step 6 | Once you have selected the image, and see that it has appeared as it shows in the screenshot, select “Upload.” | |
Step 7 | Once your image is uploaded you will see that it appears in the directory icon box, click Save Settings, in the bottom right-hand corner. |
